He originally started off in a four-person hip hop group titled GPD, later diverging to a two-person group called Black N Mild; Chief Stockton was the "mild" of the group. In Black N Mild, Chief Stockton was then known as Big Chief. After appearing across Myspace, Facebook, and YouTube, much interest has occurred over Chief Stockton including "leaking" of many of his releases, including remixes which he likes to send out at least twice a week. Chief Stockton is currently working on a mixtape titled "Music is...My Relationship" in which the mixtape will host as a prelude to his upcoming LP titled ''It's A Rollercoaster'', which is a project still looking for distribution. ==Early life== Chief Stockton was born on December 15, 1986, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Even though he has always loved hip hop, he did not start producing and recording until the winter of 2005, on his 18th birthday when he received some production software and recording software as a gift. While at that time he was still finishing up his senior year in high school and working part-time at a local T.J. Maxx, he and some of his co-workers would freestyle in the breakroom. It was then that LoanStar, Yung D, Gee Reed, and Chief formed the group "GPD", which meant Greenwood Perry District.
